He was born July 22, 1965 at Wichita, KS to Clarence John and Alberta Barbara "Bert" (Ast) Rausch. Mike grew up in Conway Springs and attended St. Joseph Catholic School and Conway Springs public schools. He graduated from Conway Springs High School with the class of 1983.
Mike was united in marriage to Melody Ann Danley on September 11, 1990 and to this union three children were born.
Mike became an iron worker in 1984 employed at the Christopher Steel Company, Wichita, KS. From 1992 - 1994, he worked as a milk transport driver for Mies and Sons Trucking before returning to metal work at Midwest Steel, Derby Steel and later as a driver for Allmetal Recycling in Wichita.
He is survived by sons: Jacob (Hallie) Rausch of Wichita, KS, Cory (Misti) Rausch of Kaw City, OK, daughter Lydia Rausch of OK; siblings: David Rausch of Wichita, KS; Bill (Janie) Rausch, Fred (Sandra) Rausch, Don (Lylla) Rausch, Mary Rose (Mike) Gibbs all of Conway Springs, KS; 6 grandchildren: Drake, Holden, Giddeon, Collins, Connor and Karsyn; 17 nieces and nephews; 21 great nieces and nephews and a number of other relatives and friends.
Rosary will be at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Conway Springs with Father Kyle Dugan as Celebrant. Inurnment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Conway Springs, KS.
