It is with deep sadness and love that we announce the passing of Michael Lee Redd, age 51, of Palestine. He passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025. He was born in Jacksonville, Texas on August 13, 1974, to parents Hubert Shelton Redd and Linda McLane Redd.

Graveside services will be held Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10am at Crawford Cemetery in Elkhart, TX. Services are in care of Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Michael was a gentle and kind soul whose presence touched the lives of many. He was a man of quiet strength, deep faith, and a heart full of compassion. His thoughtful nature and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He found great joy in life's simple pleasures-reading, listening to music, and spending time outdoors. Nature was his sanctuary, and he often found peace in the quiet beauty of the world around him. Whether walking in the woods or sitting beneath the open sky, those moments brought him deep connection and reflection. Michael's faith was a steady foundation in his life, shaping the way he treated others-with kindness, respect, and sincerity. He lived with humility and grace, and his presence was a comfort to those around him.

Though he is no longer with us, Michael's legacy lives on in the love he shared, the memories we cherish, and the quiet strength he inspired in others. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Redd; and grandmother, Gloria McLane. Michael is survived by his mother, Linda Redd; brother, Jeffery Redd; and uncle, Mike McLane.
