Michael Rodriguez Obituary

Edinburg - Michael Rodriguez was born on March 4, 1974, and passed away at the age of 50 on December 12, 2024, in Edinburg Tx. Michael was known by many for his confident and assertive personality, as well as being the life of all gatherings.

Michael graduated from McAllen High School in 1992, shortly after he married and started a family. Michael loved the outdoors and enjoyed activities like camping, barbecuing and traveling with his wife and children. He was a Houston Texans fan, he was a car enthusiast, and loved hunting. Michael retired and had the opportunity to babysit his grandsons and he showed off to everyone that it was the best job he ever had. Michael is survived by his parents Arminda and Homero Rodriguez; his wife, Sonia Barron; his children, Jacob Rodriguez, Marco Rodriguez, and Michelle Rodriguez, his son in law Andrew Sanchez; his siblings, Vanessa Purselley, his twin brother Leroy Rodriguez, Danny Rodriguez, Jason Rodriguez, Billy Joe Diaz, and Samantha Diaz; his father, Vidal Diaz and his grandsons, Vincent Sanchez and Xzavier Sanchez. Micheal's family was a source of immense pride and joy and he will be deeply missed.

A service to celebrate Michael's life will be held at Legacy Chapel in Edinburg, Texas. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and in the laughter they shared.
