Michael Joseph Saade, age 76, of Douglasville, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023. He was born October 5, 1946 in Atlanta, GA. He is the son of the late Mr. Joseph Saade and the late Mrs. Jaclyn Screws Saade. Eccentric, humorous and strong willed are just a few words that described Mike. Mike worked as a Fire Protection Engineer for the Georgia State Finance & Investment Commission (GSFIC) and State Fire Marshal’s Office for many years. He also worked as a Peace Officer for Fulton County. In his retirement, he enjoyed going to Burger King to get Whoppers, drink his Coca-Cola, watching movies and spending time with his family.
Mr. Saade is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (John) Eddington of Douglasville; son, Stephen (Kayla) Saade of Winston; grandchildren, Drew Stephens, Justin Eddington, Dakota Eddington, Austin Saade; great grandchildren, Asher Stephens, Seraphina Eddington, Sapphire Eddington and another great grandchild expected to arrive in December.
Family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will take place at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, GA.

Mike and I were friends back when we were teenagers! We caught up again at a High School Reunion! He was a Great Guy and my Husbands' friend too! May He Rest In Peace!
