Michael Louis Satterwhite

Michael Louis Satterwhite was born in Pottstown, PA on May 29, 1954 to Jeff Satterwhite and Delena Nevels-Satterwhite (Deceased)
He attended and graduated from Pottstown High School, He was a member and attended Second Baptist Church in Pottstown for many years.
As a young man full of creativity and energy he moved to Anaheim, California with a group of school friends to pursue opportunities in fine arts and design. After some time Michael decided California wasn't the place for him and he returned to Pennsylvania.
He met and married Denise Rahn and their union produced 3 beautiful children Tracey, Matthew and Cameron.
Michael worked primarily in home renovation projects and various occupations.
In 2020 during the covid epidemic, Michael was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. During this time he remained relatively positive while going through extensive and painful treatments, surgeries and trials.
God's blessings and mercy allowed him to become cancer free in 2023 and he was able to "ring the bell".
Being raised in a Christ centered home, Michael eventually returned to his spiritual roots and began to attend Abundant Life Church, and lead a more productive spiritual life. He also was part of the cancer support group at the church.
He would often tell anyone who would listen " Your looking at a miracle, a miracle from God"
Not long into this new year Michael got the call from above Come my son, I'm ready for you now.
Michael answered the call on January 6, 2025.
Like all of us Michael didn't lead a perfect life. But He did bring laughter to those he was around and a sense of purpose. But the greatest sense of purpose Michael has shown in these recent years is that it is never too late to let the Lord our God lead you in Life.
Michael is survived by father, Jeff M. Satterwhite; children, Tracy Satterwhite-Green, Matthew Satterwhite, Cameron Satterwhite; sisters, Brenda Lewis (Clinton), Mary Peek (Calvin), Deborah Satterwhite, Tena Hov (Trond); grandchildren, Selena Satterwhite, Chris Green, Ethan Satterwhite, Dominick Satterwhite; aunts and uncles, James & Yvette Satterwhite, Alabama, Marvin & Madie Nevels, North Carolina, Dorothy Douglass, Pottstown, PA, Purcell Satterwhite, Pottstown, PA; niece and nephew, Darnell and Renada Saunders and a host of other relatives and friends.
