A graveside service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. Jeremy Thompson officiating. McCoy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mike was born February 10, 1972 in Sweetwater to the late LeeRoy and Wyvonne (Pugh) Sells. He married Debra Reed May 23, 1992 in Sweetwater. Mike worked with his dad at L.R. Sells and Son Scarp Iron as a co-owner and then became owner in the later years. He lived in Sweetwater all his life and was a member of PCJC in Sweetwater and loved preaching and praying over people in need. Mike enjoyed buying and restoring old cars.
He is survived by his wife Debra of Sweetwater, son; Andrew "Drew" Sells and wife Caroline of Sweetwater, daughter; Zoey Sells of the home, his sister; Pam Posey and husband Lance of Midland and his grandchildren Shaylee and Addie Sells of Sweetwater and one on the way. Mike is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Ronda Diane Sells.
