Michael C. Shirley, 59 passed peacefully at Sterling Manor on 2/17/25 under Hospice Care.
Son of the late Joseph C. Shirley and Mary McLaughlin -O'Neill. Loving brother of Joseph (Joan) Shirley, the late James Shirley, Dana (Dave) Prosser, Dara (Robert) Dix. Loving Uncle to Jennifer (Barry) Sherwood, Robert (Kourtney) Dix, Tina (Cody) Peabody-Bouck, Pat (Mandie) Dix, Shane & Sammi Dix, Brayden, Reese & Knox Sherwood.
Michael was a kind and innocent soul. His smile lit up a room. He smiled till the very end. Loved to watch football and baseball games with family and watching the Disney Channel. Michael liked Hoagies & Cheesesteaks with a milk shake. Especially liked Thanksgiving and Christmas because there was lots of food. Michael enjoyed Joe bringing his paper every morning. He put his hand on that paper as comfort. And he knew when it wasn't there.
Michael would smile and clap his hands whenever Dana sang, You are my Sunshine, My only Sunshine and Row, Row, Row your boat. Michael loved his buddy Robert and enjoyed clapping his hands when singing Ba Ba Boom De A with him. Michael will truly be missed. May you be in peace baby brother!
