Michael was born on November 25, 1956 and passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019. Michael was a resident of Salem, Connecticut at the time of passing. Mike was a proud veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy for a term of six years. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019, from 4 - 7 pm at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Rd., Colchester and again on Friday from 9:30 - 10:30 am. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 10:30 am. The burial will be private. Appalachian Mountain Club https://www.outdoors.org/honor-memorial-gift Visitation at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on March 7, 2019. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Appalachian Mountain Club https://www.outdoors.org/honor-memorial-gift or the Boy Scouts of America, https://donations.scouting.org/#/national/.
