Michael Smith Obituary
Michael Lynn "Mike" Smith, Age 67, died on January 30, 2025, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was born on May 23, 1957 in Honolulu, HI and was the son of Lynden and Sharon Smith.
Mike was retired from the Air Force.
Mike is survived by his wife, Sandra Smith of Council Bluffs; daughter, Sheree (Thomas) Carter of Lake Forest, California; son, Steven Smith of Riverside, California; parents, Lynden and Sharon Smith of Council Bluffs; brother, Randall (Patricia) Smith of Omaha, Nebraska; sisters: Lorraine Meyers and Lynda Smith, both of Council Bluffs; two granddaughters: Skialer and Reynah Carter of Lake Forest, California; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Following the visitation, beginning at 2:00 p.m., a Rosary, Military Honors along with a memorial service will be held, all at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home in Council Bluffs, IA.
