Michael Spry Obituary

He was born on August 14, 1948 in Logan, WV. He was the son of the late James Wetzel Spry and Treasie Marie Mullins Spry.
Mike worked at various coal mines throughout the Ohio Valley and was an avid hot rod car enthusiast.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ann (Gantzer) Spry; his brother, James Spry; his sisters, Bertha Spry and Brenda Lipscomb; his in-laws, Edwin and Rose Gantzer; brother-in-laws, John Lipscomb, James "Jim" Steger, Edwin "Bud" Gantzer; and sister-in-law, Diana (Gantzer) Steger.
Michael is survived by his brother-in-law, William "Scott" and Dru Gantzer of Myrtle Beach, SC; his nieces, Dena (Scot) Patt of Shadyside, OH, Cindie Steger of Dallas, TX, and Treasie Lipscomb of Wheeling, WV; his nephew, Bill Lipscomb; as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 12pm until the time of service at 1:30pm, at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling (304-242-2311), with Father Jeeson Stephan officiating. Interment to follow at Park View Memorial Gardens.
