He was born in Plattsburgh on December 18, 1964, the son of Francis Tacy (Tonya) and Clara Pelkey (Robert).
Michael enjoyed spending time with his family who he loved unconditionally with all his heart. He loved making people laugh and he loved puttering around and fixing things.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Gail (Demers) Tacy; son, Eric Linkowski (Samantha); daughter, Alexis Tacy (Austen Dubuque); and grandchildren Willow and Sawyer Linkowski. Michael will also be missed and cherished by a large extended family.
Michael's family will receive guests on Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 11AM to Noon at St. Mary's Church, 86 Church Street Champlain. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Noon with Rev. Nicolas Revilla, parish priest, celebrating. A celebration of life for Michael to follow this summer.
In lieu of flowers or gifts we kindly ask that any donations be made to support Michael's family as they navigate this challenging time.
