Michael "Mike" R. Tedder, age 74, resident of Hale, Michigan and formerly of Clinton Township, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021, in Midland, Michigan. Born on September 19, 1947, in Highland Park, Michigan to the late Robert and Mary (nee Wilbur) Tedder.
Mike was a United States Navy Veteran, proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War. After his time in the Navy, he enjoyed spending his free time hunting, fishing, and boating at his home up north, as well as his Florida home during the winters. He especially valued his time spent with his family, children, grandchildren, and of course, his dog Bailey, who will miss him dearly. Mike was known for loving a game of cards, specifically euchre, and he was also a respected member of the F.O.E. Hale #4217 as well as the VFW West Branch Post #3775.
Beloved husband of Debra Tedder (nee Garlinghouse). Loving father of Melissa (Aaron) Wroblewski, and Robert (Michelle) Tedder.
Proud papa of Nathan, Elinor, Brandon, Amelia, Mikenzie, Jameson, and Savannah. Dear brother of Mary Trew, Gary (Diane) Tedder, and the late Ronnie Tedder. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation at the Wm Sullivan and Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Road (3 Blks E. of Van Dyke) Utica Thursday, November 4, from 2-8pm, and Friday, November 5 from 10 am until time of funeral service 11 am.

So sorry to hear of the loss of my good friend Mike. We met at the Navy's "A" school at Great Lakes over 50 years ago and had remained friends ever since. He has now joined our good buddies Dan and Duckman. We all shared so many unforgettable times up north. Mike was very much loved and will live forever in our hearts.
