Mr. Gregory Marson Tedder, age 60, of Auburn, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
Gregory was a member of Carl First Baptist Church. Throughout his life, he exhibited a remarkable talent for wood-working, a hobby that allowed him to create beautiful gifts for others, embodying his thoughtful nature. His love for the outdoors was evidenced by the time he devoted to working outside. An avid NASCAR fan, he often found joy in the thrill of the races.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 34 years, Susan Tedder, and their daughter, Hailey Tedder; father, Marson Tedder of Anderson, South Carolina, and his mother, Patricia Story of Murphy, North Carolina; stepmother, Anita Tedder, and his brother-in-law, Kevin Woodring, of Murphy, North Carolina; nephew, Todd Woodring of Germany; sister-in-law, Carolyn Enrique; extended family, Johnny, and Ashley Enrique; step-brother, Trey Pennington, and step-sister, Kim Richey. Gregory was especially devoted to his beloved dog, Sam.
Gregory was preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia Woodring; his stepfather, George Story; and stepsister, Vicky.
Per the request of the family, a formal service will not be held.
