Glenn was born in Pewee Valley, Kentucky to the late Michael Harding and Lucy Heitzman Thompson. He worked for Whayne Supply Company for over 43 years as a diesel mechanic and parts salesman.
Glenn is preceded in death by his parents.
Carrying on Glenn's legacy is his loving wife of 37 years, Linda Thompson; daughter, Katie Adair; son, Mike Thompson; and many family and friends.
Visitation for Glenn will be from 2-8 PM on Thursday, July 25 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 10600 Taylorsville Road. Funeral service will be at 10 AM on Friday, July 26 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
Memorial gifts in Glenn's honor, may be made to Baptist Health Louisville, Palliative Care Unit.
