Michael Thompson Obituary
Michael was born on February 10, 1963 in Phillipsburg, NJ to the late Harold and Margaret "Hornack" Thompson. He graduated from Warren Hills High School class of 1981. He went on to study at the Dover Business School. Michael was employed as a produce handler for Wegmans food store in Bridgewater, NJ. Mike was an avid fan of all sports. He enjoyed many years of playing softball and bowling with his friends and coaching and watching his children in youth sports. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Elizabeth; his children, Samantha Thompson, Noah Thompson and Bailey Thompson; his sisters, Sandi Nemeth (Frank), Kathy Ledbury and Joanne Wolfinger (Eric), plus many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold "Butch" Thompson and Wayne Thompson.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday September 4, 2024 from 4-6 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A memorial service celebration Michael's life will begin at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Michael's name to the American Heart Association.
