Michael Timan Obituary
1929 - 2023
Michael "Mickey" Timan, 93, of Danbury; husband of the late Rita (Skelly) Timan; father of Michael, Rhonda Ingraham, Brian, Marylou Vanderhoef, Anna Marie Gieralt, Thomas, John, Terrance, and Todd; brother of Frank and the late Anna Rossi; longtime companion of Maura Melody; grandfather of sixteen, great-grandfather of twenty-two, cousin, uncle, and friend; died on Friday morning, March 31, 2023, at Danbury Hospital.
The Order of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 13 Pembroke Rd., Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury. The family will receive friends at St. Nicholas Church on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Ability Beyond, 4 Berkshire Blvd., Bethel, CT 06801, or to St. Nicholas Church, 13 Pembroke Rd., Danbury, CT 06811, would be appreciated.

As a young boy, I looked up to Mickey, as he was one of the old time firefighters who inspired me to join the Danbury Fire Department. He was a gentleman and a leader. I will miss him. Thanks for the memories and may you Rest In Peace.
