Michael Tunis

Michael Tunis of Plymouth formerly of Cambridge and NY, Feb. 20th, loving father of Michael Tunis of Chatham, NY, James D. Tunis and his wife Gemma of New Castle, Delaware and Amy M. Tunis of Ghent. NY. Beloved brother of William Quinn of NY. Jack Quinn of NY and Paul Tunis of Plymouth. Grandfather of Kristen, Victoria, Zachary, Jessica, Jacob and Joshua. Born in Philadelphia, PA., April 14, 1948 a son of the late James D and Hazel Mae Quinn. Educated in NY and a graduate of Ichabod Crane High School in Valatie, NY and Cobleskill Community College and Buffalo Univ. He was a US Park Ranger with the National Park Service working in Boston and Cape Cod. He served in the US Army and Air Force as a Master Sgt. with the 102 nd Fighter Wing Intel Group. He served during the Vietnam War and Iraq. He was a member of the Plymouth Rod and Gun club. Visitation will take place on Thurs Feb. 25 from 10-11:00 am at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St. Plymouth, followed by an 11:00 am funeral mass at St. Peter's Church in Plymouth. Burial in the MA National Cemetery in Bourne. Memorial donations may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation, 100 Arbor Ave., Nebraska City NE 68410.
