Michael Vance Obituary
A Memorial Gathering will be held for Michael “Shaky” David Vance, 55, on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana.
Michael was born on December 14, 1966 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Corbie Iverson Vance and Carolyn June Dubois and passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022.
Michael was a graduate of Huntington High School in Shreveport and worked in the construction industry. He loved reading books and being with his friends. Above all else, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Michael is preceded in death by his father, Corbie I. Vance (Buster). Left to cherish his memory is his mom, Carolyn J. Dubois; brother and family, Darrell S. Vance and wife, Kayla, and their children, Joseph, Justin and Kalynn; brother, Steve D. Vance and wife, Robbie and their children, Corey and Chloe.
The family would like to express thanks to the staff of the Willis-Knighton Cancer Center for the excellent care and compassion given to Michael. We especially want to thank Richard Dubois for the countless hours he committed to caring for Michael. You were a godsend!
