Michael was a senior at Lincoln County High School and a member of Liberty Tabernacle.
Michael was an avid outdoorsman, with a particular fondness for hunting, fishing, shooting and motorcycles. What truly set Michael apart was his love for people. His knack for humor, his infectious laughter, and his ability to bring a smile to the faces of those he encountered, made him a joy to be around. He lived life to the fullest, with a spirit of adventure and a heart full of laughter. His legacy of love, laughter, and living life passionately will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Survivors include his father, Dustin Varvel of Stanford; mother, Amanda Varvel; four siblings, Dustin Keith Aidian Varvel, Callie Mae Varvel, Jesse Lee Towns, Jr., Alexa Rose Towns; paternal grandparents, Keith Edward Varvel and Theresa Coleman Carrier of Stanford; maternal grandparents, Stephanie Lynn and James Lynn, Jr. of Casey County.
