The eldest child of Bob and Mary Vencl, Mike was raised in Oklahoma City, Edmond, and Enid, Oklahoma. He developed a curious mind, faithful heart and a love of fishing. As a graduate of Pioneer High School in 1980, Mike pursued a career as a carpenter, showcasing his remarkable skills and attention to detail. His passion for building extended beyond his profession; he volunteered his time and talents to help construct Leonardo's Outdoor Park in Enid, a testament to heart for supporting his community.
Mike is remembered for his playful spirit, infectious laughter, and love of the outdoors. He is survived by his family and friends, including daughter Rebecca Michelle Vencl and son, Michael Edward Vencl II, sisters, Jill Lueke, and Darla Kirk. Mike is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
A celebration of Mike's life will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Grace to Change c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Blvd, Fulton, MO 65251.
