Michael John Wallace

Mike "Michael" John Wallace, 53, passed away on April 26, 2023, in Deland, Florida. Mike was born on September 15, 1969, in Waterbury, Connecticut.
He received his primary education at Kingsbury Elementary and completed his high school education at DeLand High School. Mike went on to earn an Associate's degree in heating and air conditioning from Daytona State College. He worked as a heating and air technician specializing in gas furnaces and pool heaters from 1995 to 2017.
Mike was a jokester and prankster known for his love of watching golf, playing with his cats, and drinking wine. He was a beloved husband to his wife of 28 years, Cindy Wallace, and a devoted father to his children Michael Hoyt (Brittney Hoyt), Mark Wallace, and Heather Wallace (Jesus Reyes). Mike was also a proud grandfather to his grandson Luke James Wallace. His Brother Frank Wallace, Stephany Marasovich, Joey Wallace, He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis Wallace and Anne Marie (Pezik) Wallace.
In addition to his immediate family, Mike leaves behind many relatives and friends, including his siblings-in-law Basil Hoyt, Claire Green, David Hoty (Wendy Hoyt), Donna Delevieleuse, Mary Hoyt (Nelson Water), Patty Delgado (Ron Delgado), and Diane Hoyt (Josh Neuhauser), Barbara Porter Aunt, Kimmy Porter cousin, Bill Dionne Uncle, Pat Wallace Mother inlaw,and his nieces and nephews.
A Family Hosted Memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 7th, at Deland Chisholm Center in Deland, FL, located at 520 South Clara Avenue, with Pastor Louis Castriota officiating.
In honor of Mike's love for animals, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Daytona Beach.
