Michael Timothy Warmouth

Michael Timothy Warmouth, 58, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, after a brief and courageous battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Born on May 25, 1967, in Norwich, NY, Michael made Chattanooga, Tennessee his beloved home beginning in 1976.

A lifelong learner with a natural curiosity for the world around him, Michael built a career as a self-employed geology consultant.

Michael had a gift for friendship and made those around him feel welcome, valued, and at ease. He loved opening his home to others, hosting gatherings and holidays with family. His circle of friends was wide, loyal, and deeply important to him.

He is survived by his sister, Tammy Herrick (Timothy), and his brother, Thomas Warmouth, both of whom loved him dearly. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Ann Warmouth, and his father, Thomas Charles Warmouth.

Michael's family and friends will remember him for his generous spirit, sharp wit, and unwavering kindness.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held 1:00 pm on Sunday, November 30 in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace in Hixson. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
