Michael K. Warnock, age 71, of Point Breeze, & previously of Regent Square & Eastmont, passed away on April 24. 2025.
Son of the late Jackie & Bill Warnock. Mike is also preceded in death by his brothers John & Fred, as well as his great Aunt Mimi & his great uncles, Fred & George, who were like grandparents to him. Mike is survived by his brothers Bill (Tina) & Paul (Debbie), his sister Ginny, his sons Jonathan & Steven, his 3 grandchildren, as well as many nieces & nephews.
Mike was a 1971 graduate of Churchill High School. He spent most of his adult life with a career in the printing industry.
Mike loved vintage stereo equipment, beautiful cars (He attended The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix for many years), photography, dogs & a good game of Scrabble (especially when he was matching wits with his mom).
He also loved The Pittsburgh Steelers. So much, that he had a Steeler tattoo.
At Mike's request, there was no viewing.
If you want to honor Mike's memory by making a charitable donation, donations to HARP (Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh) would be a wonderful way to do so. This was a charity that he donated to regularly.
Arrangements entrusted to the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., Oakmont.

I first met Mike about 5 years ago as we both have an interest in vintage audio. He started buying equipment, cleaning them up, replacing bulbs and then selling them. He never made much money doing it but it was a fun hobby for him. Occasionally I would assist him on some minor electronic repairs but I was surprised at how competent he was doing something new to him. Mike loved his music and was still spinning records a few months ago
