Obituary of Paul T. "Uncle Paul" Beres
A lifelong resident of Chalfant, age 74, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, May 31, 2025.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Beres and Marie (Thomas) Beres.
He is survived by his sister, Carole McKeag and his nephew, David P. McKeag, both of Chalfant.
Paul will be deeply missed by his cats: Stevie Nicks, CoCo and Buddy.
Paul was a 1969 graduate of Churchill High School, and a well known and respected volunteer coach of many seasons for the Chalfant Pony League team. He loved all aspects of coaching the youth and he particularly enjoyed harassing the umpires. Paul was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge #141 and, for years, bowling was a favorite pastime for him. Paul also was an ardent fan and critic of Pittsburgh sports teams.
Paul will be interred privately.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org.
