Michael Howard Weiner

Michael Howard Weiner, known as Mike, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home in Edison, New Jersey, on January 23, at the age of 88. Born August 5, 1937, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Leon and Edith Weiner. Mike earned his bachelor's degree from Albright College and proudly served in the National Guard. An entrepreneur at heart, he spent over 50 years in business, most notably as the owner of Michael's Shoes, specializing in men's big size footwear, where his kindness and integrity left a lasting impression. Married to his wife Diana for more than 65 years, Mike deeply cherished his family. He was an avid fan of the New York Jets and Mets and enjoyed basketball, swimming, and softball. He is survived by his wife Diana, sons Todd and Cathy Weiner, David and Eva Weiner, bonus son Stanley Louissaint, and grandchildren Samuel, Jayson, Emily, and Jake. Services will be held January 29, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Goldstein Funeral Chapel.
