Michael Scott Wilson, 57, of Bald Knob, Ark., passed from this life on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, at his home. He was born Aug. 22, 1967, in Memphis, Tenn.
He was a graduate of Bald Knob High School. Although an only child, Michael's home was a gathering place for his friends. He was a jokester and everyone enjoyed his sense of humor. It took him three times to realize a car cigarette lighter would burn his finger.
Michael was always surrounded by the love of his mother (mama's boy). He loved playing golf, especially with his father.
A Christian, Michael was a member of the First Christian Church of Bald Knob. Michael worked in pipeline construction and was a member of Pipeliners Union Local 798.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Nellie (Capps) Wilson. Surviving are his uncles, Jerry Capps and Royce Wilson; an aunt, Mary (Capps) Hutchison; as well as numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Interment services were held privately.
