Michael Scott "Mike" Wilson

Bedford, PA-Michael "Mike" Scott Wilson, 73, of Bedford, PA, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 25, 2025.
Born March 8, 1952 in Cumberland, MD, Mike was the son of the late Milford Guy Wilson and Dorothy May (Gilpin) Wilson. He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Harry Grove.
Mike was a graduate of Fort Hill High School Class of 1970 and retired with 40 years of service from CSX Railroad where he held various positions. After retirement, he was a driver for Potomac Valley Pharmacy and Walsh-McCagh for several years. Methodist by faith, Mike and his wife, Trish attended several churches in the area.
Mike was a lover of all things including: watching football, listening to music, dancing, Halloween especially costumes, boating, wildlife, working in the yard, the hot tub, his white Mercedes, the beach, and also the Honi Honi bar. He was very passionate about politics but most of all he loved his wife and talked about her all the time. Although, he had no children of his own he had a great relationship with his step-grandchildren and his nieces and nephews who made him feel like he had his own.
Mike is survived by his wife: Trish Wilson; his step-daughter: Rebecca Lee and husband Devin; his step-grandchildren: Isla, Jaxon, Aubrielle, and Lainey; his brothers and sisters: Linda Witt and husband Steve; Patty Grove; and Rick Wilson and wife Liz; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and his feline companion: Sylvie.
Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD 21502 on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 P.M.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
