Mr. Yaremchuk is the beloved husband of 59 years to Gail. Loving father of Rebecca (Michael) Valent and Neil Yaremchuk. Grandfather of Alexis, Michael, Cameron, Fiona and Jillian. Preceded in death by his siblings Marian, Andrew, Theodore, Julius, George, Walter, Harold and Steve. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Mr. Yaremchuk played minor-league baseball for the Chicago Cubs and enjoyed all sports. He worked his entire career at Detroit Diesel. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing at his favorite spot on Mullett Lake.
Funeral mass from St Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church, 26401 St. Josaphat Dr, Warren, MI 48091, Saturday, January 13th at 1 PM (In State 12:30 PM). Interment Monday, January 15th at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Heights. Friends may visit Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 340 North Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake (3 Blks. S. of Maple Rd.) Friday, January 12th from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital appreciated.
