Michaelene Sandifer Sullivan

Michaelene Sandifer Sullivan, 77, of Beckley passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Raleigh General Hospital.

Born March 11, 1948 in Greenville, Mississippi she was the daughter of the late Virgil Lee and Lillian B. Williams Sandifer.

Michaelene retired from the Telephone Company as a Electrical Technician and in her leisure she enjoyed playing the piano, going out to eat, working on her crossword puzzles, word search book and coloring books. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her grandson, Nathaniel Sullivan.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving daughters, Paige Thompson and Gina Fleming; grandchildren, Austin Burris, Xander Fleming, Alexis Thompson, Adalyn Thompson, Josiah Thompson, and Savannah Sullivan-Trest; sisters, Jacque Carpenter and Jo Wylie; and brother, V.L. Sandifer, Jr. "Brother".

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Pastor Scott Nary officiating. Burial will follow at Pax Community Cemetery in Pax, WV.

There will be no public visitation.
