"Death so punctual that it is always not on time" by Father Jan Twardowski.
With heavy hearts, we share that our beloved father, husband, and grandfather, Michal Skrzypczak, has passed away at the age of 73 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Michal was a man of immense strength, resilience, and love. Through years of fighting this relentless disease, he never lost his spirit or the love he had for his family. He devoted his life to working hard so that we could have better lives, free and full of opportunity. He found joy in books, traveling, the beauty of winter, skiing, and tending to his beloved garden. And above all, he loved us–his family–and his loyal dog, Mikki.
Dad, thank you for everything you did for us; we will never forget it. You will remain forever in our hearts and memories. The time will come when we will meet again.
Michal married Eva (Grochulski) Skrzypczak on October 14th, 1972. Born in Konin, Poland, the son of Alfred and Maria Skrzypczak. He was a carpenter, belonging to Union 215, for 25 years.
Michal is survived by his beloved wife, Eva; his sons, Martin Sebastian Skrzypczak and Bartek Michael Skrzypczak; his grandchildren, Nona, Lucian, Olivia; his sister-in-law, Mirka Wanczura; his brother-in-law, Jerry Grochulski and Jacek Wanczura; his nieces and nephews, Maciek, Magda, Joanna, and Justyna; and his great nieces and nephews, Maya, Mathew, and Eli.
Michal was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1st, 2025 at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Chapel of Faith.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1st, 2025, at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Chapel of Faith, 3631 Morehouse Road, West Lafayette, Indiana.
