His Legacy Michal Wityk, 84, passed away November 3, 2024. He was born on November 20, 1939, in Poland to Prokop and Anna (Soltyk) Wityk. Michal grew up in Poland and came to the United States around the age of 25. Michal married the love of his life, Maria Slupska, on September 17, 1966, in Detroit, Michigan spending 58 wonderful years with her. He began working for General Motors working his way into quality control. Michal retired from GM after 30 years of service. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, and his love and devotion to his faith and family. Michal worked hard at everything he put his mind to; including building two homes with the support of his wife and children. He loved traveling out west and to New York with his family and preaching about God's Kingdom. He will be held in loving memory by all who knew him.
His Family Michal will be missed by his wife, Maria Wityk; his children, Mike (Antonella) Wityk, Eva (Paul) Young, James (Julie) Wityk; brother, Nick (Halina) Wityk; grandchildren Carter and Claire; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Prokop and Anna Wityk; siblings Julie Hryckowian, Bill Wityk.
His Farewell Michal's family and friends will gather privately at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel in Howell, Michigan.
