Michele DeSio of Colonia, NJ, a former resident of Wurtsboro, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Complete Care at Westfield in Westfield, NJ. She was 66.
The daughter of the late George DeSio and Anita Piazza, she was born on March 4, 1959 in the Bronx.
It's hard to gather the right words, pointing out the obvious is deserved. We admire your strength, that was passed down to us all. We celebrate you with dance, songs and laughter, as requested from your spoken words.
She is survived by her three daughters: Denine Tancredi and her husband Paul of Mountain Home, Idaho, Doreen Mann and her husband Willie of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Danielle Falgiano and her husband Ralph of Colonia, NJ; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters: Denise DeSio of Wurtsboro, Ginny DeSio of Wurtsboro and Cathy Karp of Sutton, MA; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7 from 4:00 to 9:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 8 at 11am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 180 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with Fr. Peter Madori officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Wurtsboro. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Michele, please visit our floral store.
