In Loving Memory of Michele Halley
Michele Halley, 55, from Mine Hill, New Jersey, passed away on August 17, 2025. She was born on November 23, 1969, to Valentine and Joseph Montgomery, Jr. at Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey. Michele graduated with the class of 1988 from Morris Catholic in Denville. She met her husband, Cloyd, in 2006, and they wed on November 14, 2009.
Michele earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison in 1992. In the early years of her career, she worked as a cashier at JJ Newberry before pursuing the accounting field with H&R Block. Over the course of more than 30 years, she dedicated her career to the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) and co-founded a successful auto detailing business with her husband.
She served as a volunteer editor and event planner for DiversityPlus Magazine, a Caribbean business journal. Additionally, Michele was actively involved with the Juvenile Conference Committee (JCC) in Madison, where she contributed to hearing and resolving matters concerning alleged juvenile offenders. Her passions included gardening, music, bowling, crocheting, and caring for her mother.
Michele particularly cherished activities such as visiting lighthouses, but her most treasured moments were spent with her beloved husband, Cloyd.
She is survived by her mother, Valentine; her brother, Perry; her sister, Debbie; her husband, Cloyd; her nephew, Kannin; her nieces, Kayla and Kiera; as well as Kiera's children, Leo and Wyatt.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph. A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 25, at Sacred Heart Church, located at 4 Richards Ave, Dover.
