It is with great sadness that we announce that Gunnar Dalton Buckley of Bellevue Nebraska passed away on August 24, 2025, at the age of 26. Gunnar was an amazing man and his unexpected death is a profound loss for the entire family.
Gunnar was an incredible young man who always put family and friends first. His love for the ones he cared about was evident by how he cherished every one of them. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a man you could count on.
Gunnar loved spending time with his friends and family. Known as a lego master by the age of 8 in the town of Dover. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, camping, playing chess, and was an avid gamer. He had a love for the gym and the taste of creatine in the morning. He enjoyed the finer things in life like dinosaurs, penguins, and turtles. Listened and enjoyed all genres of music. He was a true individual and one of a kind.
In his brief lifetime on this rolling rock called Earth he had many accomplishments. Gunnar was a Corporal for the United States Marines Corps. During his time in the service Gunnar did security detail for the Vice President of the United States while stationed in London. His service included working with the DEA, Embassy duty in Peru, Canada, and Uganda during covid. While in the Marines he received the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defence Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Navy & Marine Overseas Service Ribbon and Expert Rifleman.
Gunnar will forever be the best son, grandson, nephew, cousin and a true friend who was a brother to many. He will forever leave a hole in the hearts of the people he has touched.
Gunnar is survived by his Mother Christine Wnorowski, Grandmother Patricia Wnorowski, Aunt Jeanette Caulfield (Wnorowski), Uncle Ronald Caulfield, Niece Teagan, his spouse, Ryan Dolye, and a beloved Mexican Rescue Cat, Concha.
A Prayer will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 2:30 PM, followed by a Memorial Visitation from 2:45PM-3:30PM, then a Celebration of Life from 3:30PM-4:30PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph. Please visit www.tuttlefh.com for more information or to leave an online condolence to the family.
