Michele C. Metzger, of Waukesha, WI, passed away on August 27, 2024. She is rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who WAS her life, and whom she has longed to be with since giving her life to Him.
‘Mick’ was a dearly loved sister, mother, aunt and friend. She loved her family, her country, art and animals, particularly her sister Debbie’s two German shepherds, horses and chickens. But mostly, she loved her dear daughter, Maresa. Mick and Maresa weren’t just mother and daughter, but they were best friends and kindred spirits. When Maresa died in 2018, Mick struggled to adjust to life in this world without her. Today, they are together in Glory, where there are no tears and no pain. We will miss Mick, but we rejoice with her and for her.
Mick is survived by her sisters Jody Kanters, Debbie Caravello and Linda Ferron; Rebecca Bauer, niece, Jesse Kanters, nephew, Charlie Caravello, nephew, Sam Caravello, nephew, Carol Curtis, cousin, Celeste Carney, cousin, Jude Hines, cousin, and great nieces and nephews.
See you soon, dear Sister.
