Michele Ann Mixell, age 46, of Shiremanstown, died on Monday, September 8, 2025. Michele was born on Monday, September 11, 1978, in Camp Hill to Barbara Ann (Derr) Mixell-Bobb and the late Francis Joseph Mixell. In addition to her father, Michele is preceded in death by her beloved cat Poe.
Michele’s survivors include her mother: Barbara Ann (Derr) Mixell-Bobb of Shiremanstown; her two siblings: Jessica L. Mixell of Dillsburg, Joseph W. Mixell of Shiremanstown; her nephew: Riley Gladwin; and her cat Boo.
Michele graduated from Mechanicsburg Area High School. She was currently employed at TDY Medical Staffing working as a mailroom clerk. Michele had a strong passion for horror stories, horror movies, and attending horror conventions. She also spent her time reading outside in the fall weather. Michele enjoyed photography and camping at R.B. Winter State Park campground. She was a collector of vintage items, books, and Comics. Michele was also known for her great sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
