Michelle Ann (Minnick) Hollon, age 63 of Gratis, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, October 13, 2023. She was born August 8, 1960, in Middletown, Ohio daughter of the late Charles Minnick and Laura (Maloney) Larison. Michelle was a devoted wife for 37 years, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a member of the Orioles Social Club 183 and the Middletown Moose 513. She enjoyed gardening, motorcycle riding, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hollon; and brother-in-law, Larry Williams. She is survived by her daughter, Melinda (Morris) Thompson III; son, Dennis (Cristina) Hollon; grandson, Morris Thompson IV; granddaughter, Jocelyn Thompson; sister, Shannon Williams; brother, John (Laura) Salter; uncle, Paul Anders; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, from 5pm until the time of funeral service at 6pm at Gard Funeral Home, (113 S. Ada Doty Street, Gratis, Ohio 45330). Private burial will be held at a later date at Fairview Cemetery, Gratis, OH. Memorial contributions may be made in Michelle's honor to the local Animal Shelter.
