Michelle Klein, age 51, "a force of nature" passed away suddenly on April 8, 2019. She was a caring mother, adoring grandmother, and shared an unbreakable bond with her sister. She cherished her schnauzers and would spare no expense. She enjoyed spending her valuable time with her loving family and dogs.
Michelle was a groomer for 22 years and was the owner operator of Auntie Shell's Pet Grooming On the Go. Before that she was also a manager and grooming supervisor at Petco. She took great pride in her business. She knew every customer by name. She counted many them as her friends. Their fur babies became her adopted children.
Michelle touched many people's lives. She was only a phone call away. She was there for all her friends during their darkest hours and cherished every moment with them.
She is survived by her children, Jeffery Barnard and wife Melissa, of Albuquerque, NM. Her son Patrick Weldon and wife Laci of Mabank, TX. Her grandchildren Anthony Barnard, Caden Barnard, Kami Barnard, Heavenlee Weldon, and Caylee Weldon. Her sister Cheryl Schmatt and husband Ben. Michelle was preceded in death by her father Joe (Gaga) Klein, and mother Louise Klein, her grandfather Edward (Daddy Jeffe) Wood, and Grandmother Gladys (Keet) Wood who helped in her upbringing.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Celebration of Life and reception will follow. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menual Blvd NE,87107 following reception.
