In loving memory of Michelle Suzanne Zapata, born on October 6, 1975, in California, her beautiful life journey came to a peaceful end on April 1, 2025, in Lindstrom, Minnesota. Michelle touched the lives of many through her warmth, creativity, and unwavering love for her family.
Michelle was the cherished daughter of Donna Orendorff. She was a devoted mother and is survived by her two beloved sons, Stephen and Xander, who were the pride and joy of her life. Her heart also held a special place for her granddaughter, Josephine.
Michelle's life was marked by the love and companionship of her family. She is also survived by her sister, Jennifer, who shared countless memories and adventures with her throughout the years. Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Donna, her sister Brandi, and her beloved grandparents, Betty and William. Their love and guidance will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew Michelle.
Michelle had a passion for life that was evident in the myriad of hobbies she embraced. She found joy in baking, knitting, and sewing, often creating beautiful items for her loved ones. She also had a profound love for watching her boys play football, proudly cheering them on from the stands, embodying the essence of a supportive and loving mother.
As we reflect on Michelle's life, we remember her infectious laughter, her kind spirit, and her ability to bring people together. Her family will be holding a private funeral service and plans for a Celebration of Life in Minnesota and California are forthcoming. More details will be shared with family and friends in due time.
Michelle Suzanne Zapata will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and creativity will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of her family in the embrace of eternity.
