Migda Armendarez was born on June 14th, 1968, in Artesia, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Eva Navarrette. She is survived by her husband, William (Billy) Armendarez of 42 years, Siblings Jaime Navarrette (Oralia), Arturo Navarrette (Marisela), Rosa Navarrette (Darrell), 3 Daughters, Yvette Anguiano (Luis), Mary Catherine Armendarez (Caleb), Teresa Armendarez (Fernando), Grand-Daughters Alyssa, Annalisa, Adilena, Fur Grandchildren Dot, Buddy, Jax, Mystique, Raven, Gizmo and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
She loved cooking, eating, camping, fishing, sitting by the fire, listening to comedy, but most importantly, above all things, she loved taking care of her family. She devoted her life to ensuring everyone around her was taken care of, even if it meant sacrificing her health to do so. She was known as the loud and in-charge little sister, and she made sure to tell everyone, "I'm the baby!" She loved going shopping and spending time with All of her girls. She loved listening to Mariachi music and any music she could dance to with her loving husband. She was always the life and light of the party. Anywhere life took her, she could start a conversation with anyone. She was a long-time, standing member of the Hobbs community. She was a teacher's aide for the Hobbs Municipal Schools and a CCD teacher at St. Helena's Catholic Church for 12 years. She was a life-long caregiver, devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, Tia and grandmother. Her memory will forever bring joy and happiness to everyone her light touched.
Food will be served from 1:00 -4:00 PM at Longhorn Party Pad on 2120 West College Lane, Hobbs, NM 88240.
