Flavio Geronimo Armendarez

Flavio Geronimo Armendarez, also known as " Jerry", 87, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025. He is survived by wife of 64 years Sandra M. Armendarez (nee Dulach); his daughters Janet (the late Mark) Williams, Jennifer Armendarez and son Jerry (Suzy) Armendarez; grandchildren Jessica, Robyn, Mark, Madison, James, Benjamin, Diana, and Olivia; great-grandchildren Carmen, Andre, Kyler, Olivia, Ethan, Scarlett, Eleanor, Jameson, Rylann, Levi, and Bentley. He also leaves behind his sister, Stella (the late Berwyn) and many nieces and nephews.

Flavio was predeceased by his parents, Romolo and Neva (nee Martinez) Armendarez, and six siblings Joseph, Josephine, Virginia, Delores, John, and Jim.

Flavio was a master tool and die maker who retired from Union Carbide. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Mexico with his family. He loved sports and coaching his children's baseball and softball teams. Flavio was an avid Browns and Indians fan. He was involved at the North Ridgeville Senior Center, was a volunteer driver delivering Meals on Wheels for homebound seniors. Flavio loved to take walks with his dog, Rocco. He especially loved walking in Bradley Woods, Ohio.

Services for Flavio will be at Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon-Belden Road, Avon Lake, Ohio 44012. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 with visitation at 10:30 am until time of service at 11:30 am. Christian Burial to follow at Holy Cross Brook Park Cemetery.
