Mike Beyer

Michael Beyer was a great brother, son, father, and friend.
Michael Joel Beyer, 35, of Rice Lake, WI, passed away on November 9, 2023. Born on March 29, 1988, in Dubuque, IA. Survived by his parents Clifton and Margaret Beyer, daughter Samantha Reeves-Beyer and her mother Jenny, his brother Clifton (Jorge Urbina), and sister Stephanie.
Mike, as he was affectionately known, was a kind, generous, and fun-loving guy. His friendships were of utmost importance to him, and he cherished the lifelong bonds he created. After a long stint away from Rice Lake, moving from Connecticut to NYC to Florida, Mike had recently returned and was truly settling into his new life. He had a passion for grilling and loved hosting gatherings for friends and family, where he would showcase his exceptional kabob-making and fruit plate skills. In recent years, Mike delighted everyone with his incredible Christmas light displays and decorations. We were all eagerly awaiting what he had in store for us this year.
Professionally, Mike was a UPS Driver Extraordinaire, delivering packages with efficiency and care. Outside of work, he enjoyed cooking, spending quality time with his family, hanging out with friends, disc golf, and engaging in various games.
A memorial service to celebrate Mike's life will be held on Friday, November 17th, 2023, from 4-8 pm at Skinner Funeral Home in Rice Lake. Join family and friends of Mike by sharing your stories and memories of him. Instead of a service, the family has opted to host a special memory-sharing hour at 7 pm where everyone is encouraged to share happy memories and stories of Mike.
