Michael Matthew Bryer was called to Heaven on Sunday, June 22, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen Bryer; his brothers, Joseph, Robert, and Eugene Bryer; his son, Berry Inglett; and grandson, Christopher Bryer.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Carol Walker Bryer; his brother-in-law, David Walker (Sandy); sister-in-law, Susan; son, Michael (Sharon); granddaughter, Megan Bryer Boyd (William) and their children, Bryer and Bodie; his daughter, Jennifer Bryer Schiesser (Travis) their children, Bryer, Samuel, and Lilly; his granddaughter, Bailey Rogers (Kenny) and their children, Lauren and Madison. Mike Bryer was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather.
Mike was blessed with 6 grandchildren and totally spoiling them was his greatest pastime. Grandaddy Mike would drop everything to be there for them. Across the state of Georgia, Pennsylvania, Europe and beyond. No distance was too far when he was needed...and he showed up without fail.
For those who he loved and cherished Time was his greatest gift.
Mike was known as "The Dogfather" to many generations of dogs, purebred Dobermans as well as mutts. He loved them all.
He started his adventure at 17 years old when he joined the US Army, where he served as a Military Policeman at Fort Gordon, Georgia, outside of Augusta. It was in Augusta where he found his calling in sales. This ultimately led to ownership in Augusta Toyota. Mike was a record-breaking salesman, and in 1977 was awarded to the prestigious Toyota Presidents 1000 Club, where he exceeded 1000 cars sold, and was in the top 10 dealerships in the nation.
Mike always enjoyed watching football and loved to cheer for his Georgia Bulldogs by chatting the "WOOF, WOOF, WOOF" cheer in that deep, Mike Bryer voice.
Mike enjoyed fishing and boating, he trawled the waters of Georgia and Florida. He often returned home with an ice chest filled with his catch. He loved taking his boat "Top Dog" out for fun as well as transporting his wife, Carol, to work across the Tampa Bay.
