Diane Streeter Campbell, a beacon of warmth and creativity, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025 surrounded by family and friends, in Georgia, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Born on November 29, 1952, in Ohio, Diane's life was a rich tapestry of love, art, and devotion to her family.
Diane's journey began as the cherished daughter of her Ohio-based family, and her early years were marked by a vibrant curiosity and a knack for bringing beauty into the world. She carried this passion into her studies, attending a university in Ohio where she honed her talents and emerged as a gifted graphic designer. Her professional career was characterized by her intelligence and creativity, leading her to become a respected figure in the design community, where her work not only communicated ideas but also touched hearts.
Her life was further enriched when she met and married her beloved husband, Vince. Together, they built a life full of love and laughter. Diane's role as a mother to Abby, Angela, and Nick was one she cherished deeply, and she instilled in her children the values of kindness, curiosity, and the importance of family. Diane's love blossomed further with the arrival of her grandchildren, Dutch, Aaron, Marleigh, and Lucas. She took immense joy in their growth and adventures, always encouraging them to pursue their dreams with the same fervor she did her own. Her garden was a place of special connection with her grandchildren, where she taught them the names of each flower and the beauty of nurturing life.
Her siblings, Dave, Linda, and Carol, shared in the joys and sorrows of life with Diane, and their bond was a source of strength and comfort throughout her journey. As a devout Christian, Diane's faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life's challenges and celebrations with grace and gratitude. Diane's interests extended beyond her family and career to include a deep appreciation for art, which she both created and admired. Her love for the Atlanta Braves was well-known among her friends and family, and she could often be found cheering on her favorite baseball team with the same enthusiasm she brought to every aspect of her life.
Those who knew Diane will remember her as an intelligent, loving, and creative soul, whose presence was a gift to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy is one of love, beauty, and the enduring power of family and faith. Diane's spirit will continue to inspire and guide us, as we hold her memory close in our hearts.
As we bid farewell to Diane Elaine Streeter Campbell, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the indelible mark she has left on this world. Her life was a testament to the power of love and the enduring human spirit. We take comfort in the knowledge that her legacy will live on through the lives of those she touched. Rest in peace, Diane; your light will never fade.
