Michael Thomas Julian, affectionately known as Mike to his friends and loved ones, passed away peacefully on the 9th of September, 2025, in Avon Lake, Ohio. Born on the 4th of June, 1940, in Highland Park, Illinois, Mike's journey was marked by an unwavering dedication to his faith, family, and community. Mike's early years were spent in the vibrant surroundings of Highland Park, where he graduated from Highland Park High School. His pursuit of education took him to the esteemed Miami of Ohio University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. His academic achievements laid the foundation for a remarkable career that spanned over fifty years. Professionally, Mike was a highly respected Account Executive in the convention and meetings industry. His work producing trade shows took him across the United States and overseas, where his expertise and passion for his craft left an indelible mark. Mike's commitment to his profession was paralleled only by his involvement in various associations, where he served with honor and distinction. A devout Christian, Mike's faith was the cornerstone of his existence. It guided him through life's challenges and triumphs and was a source of comfort and strength to those around him. His love for God was evident in the way he lived and the manner in which he treated others, always with grace and compassion. Family was the heart of Mike's world. He was a loving husband to his cherished wife, Sally, for 60 years, a testament to their enduring love and partnership. A proud father to Eric (married to Rhonda) and Kristin (married to Butch Reimer), Mike found his greatest joy in being a grandfather to Tim, Mariah, Halle, Eva, Ben, and Abby. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Mike's interests were as varied as they were fulfilling.
