Mike Pecora, a devoted husband and father, passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on September 25, 1940, Mike spent nearly 20 years as a mechanic for Caterpillar, where he was known for his hard work and dedication.
Throughout his life, Mike loved being outside and working in his garden. He was a true "Mr. Fix-It," always ready to lend a hand or share his skills with family and friends. His strong work ethic and passion for life left a lasting impact on those who knew him.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Franca, with whom he shared 58 wonderful years. He is also survived by his children: Sandra Winkler-Pecora, Juliana Yanez, and Mike (Kristin) Pecora. Mike cherished his role as a grandfather "Nonno" to Taylor, Andreana, Marco, Nicholas, Carina, Madison, Mikee, and Joey, who will remember him fondly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luigi and Aquila and his brothers, Virgilio and Francesco. Mike's spirit and love for his family will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
