Francis Michael St. Cyr, 77, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025. Mike was born in Ft. Bragg, NC on February 1, 1948. He graduated from Irvin High School in El Paso, Tx and he later joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country. Mike later married his wife Hyon and had a daughter named Michelle.
He loved playing pool, bbqing for the family, watching Dallas games with his dad and brothers. If a Dallas game wasn't on the screen you can almost guarantee a western movie was. One of his most favorite things to do while watching westerns, was to talk on the phone with his mother and discuss the western movie they were both watching. Like father like son he loved him some bowling too. My dad loved to draw and had a large collection of music "the man swore he was a DJ". He loved his wife and his entire family and he was an awesome dad to me. From his sarcastic humor, to his big ol' brain, he was loved by everybody every where he went. He will be greatly missed. I love you daddy always and forever.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Roger and Ann St. Cyr and siblings Carmen, Toni, Chris, Gerald and Jeffery. Survived by his wife Hyon and daughter Michelle and siblings Marie, Gwen, Nettie, Stephanie, Roger, Patrick and Terrell. A funeral mass will be held for Mike on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 4:00-7:00 pm Rosary at 6:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast 4631 Hondo Pass Dr., El Paso, Tx. 79904.
