Milagros C. San Juan

Milagros C. San Juan, age 88, long-time resident of Chicago, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday morning, February 9, 2025 with her family at her side.
Born May 1, 1936 in Manila, Philippines to the late Eduardo and the late Filomena Capito, Milagros was the beloved wife of the late Jaime; loving mother of Mary Rose and the late Milagros "Milette"; dear sister of the late Eduardo Capito, Jr., the late Luz Capito, the late Ramon (Sally) Capito, and Rosario (the late Abraham) Felipe; fond aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Milagros was a pious woman and devout Catholic. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and former parishioner of St. Hedwig Catholic Church and Our Lady of Manaoag Church in the Philippines where she was a choir director. She loved to sing and play piano. Milagros was kind to everyone and loved to cook for her family and her neighbors. She was the best mom, and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation Friday, February 14, 2025 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Muzyka & Son Funeral Home, 5776 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago. Family and friends to meet 11 a.m Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Church, 7211 W. Talcott Ave., Chicago, for Funeral Mass. Interment to follow at Maryhill Cemetery.
