Zora Gavric

Zora Gavric, age 81, long-time resident of Chicago passed away on August 20, 2025. Born June 13, 1944 in Yugoslavia to the late Milka and Mane Mandic, wife of the late Miodrag Gavric. Loving mother to Jovan (Erin) Gavric, Danica Munson and Mane (Daniela) Gavric. Proud and loving grandmother to Michael, John, Matthew, Kristian, Mila, Stevan, Lily, Luka and Mia. Dear sister of Danica Vidljinovic. Beloved Kuma, aunt and friend to many. Zora was an active member of Old Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church. She was a dedicated Serbian folklore dance instructor to many children and took great pride in sewing their dance costumes. Zora was an amazing baker famous for her waffle cookies which she brought to every family event. She will be dearly missed by her family, Kumovi and friends. Visitation Friday, August 29, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.until time of Opelo (Funeral Service) at 11:00 a.m. at New Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35420 W. Grant Avenue, Third Lake.
