Mildred was a native and lifelong resident of Gulfport. She was a retired homemaker, a longtime member of New Hope Baptist Church, and an active member of the Red Hat Society. She especially cherished her time in the “Charlie's Angels” Sunday School Group.

She loved gardening, especially tending to her lily garden, which brought her great joy for many years. It saddened her when she could no longer keep it up. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends playing Bunco.

Mildred loved her family fiercely and was always concerned about who would care for them after she was gone. Her devotion and care will be missed dearly.

Special thanks to the staff of One Magnolia Place and Arden Hospice for their care, compassion, and assistance during her final days.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
